Is what you see holding you back?


Often in life it is the lense we are looking through that prevents us from changing.

We are fearful of what it looks like in the future if it all goes wrong.

Just for one day I would encourage you to change your lense and see what it could look like in the future if it all goes “right”, and ask yourself could you live with the worst that can happen.

If so, take the leap and keep looking through the “right” lense to get you where you want to go.

Change can be hard, change can be scary and change can also be exactly what you need – NOW!

Ask yourself do you want to stay where you are, or are you ready to change?  Which gives you more pain, where you are now, or where you could be?

  • What is stopping you?
  • What do you need to do to make it happen?
  • Is it aligned to your values and beliefs?
  • Who can help you make it happen?
  • What is the worst thing that can happen if you do this?

The difference between success and failures is having a go and being prepared to make a mistake vs finding reasons not to do something.  Use your energy in a positive way and who knows what success you may have in the future.

Tomorrow Will Be Different


Tomorrow I will wake up and it will be different, I will:

  • Go on a diet
  • Start exercising
  • Pitch my idea to the boss
  • Start my own business
  • Just get out of bed

How many of you hear yourself saying this every night?

If you are anything like the majority of people, what generally happens is we wake up and with all good intentions and motivation, however we cannot seem to put those thoughts into action.  What were we thinking, right?

It is not because we are not motivated, of course we are, we know we will be a better person for it.  So, what is stopping us from putting our thoughts into action?
